UPDATE: Apparently, this was satire. 🙂

This here is ‘invisible art’… by Lana Newstrom. I hope I am not making a copyright infringement by posting it here!
I am always the first person to defend all sort of artistic claims by artists… I think art cannot be really judged because it is all about perception and imagination which is different for everyone.
This ‘artist’ takes the whole idea to a different level. A level I want to laugh at, but am so horrified about it I am unable to express any emotion that would make any sense.
Art is about imagination and that is what my work demands of the people interacting with it. You have to imagine a painting or sculpture is in front of you.

Her ‘artwork’ is fetching her millions of dollars from ‘collectors’.
Give me a few minutes while I lift my jaw off the floor and set my facial features in an expression that does not convey horror and disbelief!
Smacks of the “Emperor’s New Clothes”.
Exactly… except there seem to be people here willing to shell out money for this.

In my wildest imagination, and you know how wild it is, I couldn’t have thought of this! 🙂
